SOCIAL CARE LEADER (MONTENOTTE)
FULLTIME PERMANENT
The successful applicant will be required to work in a progressive and
dynamic environment supporting people with an intellectual disability
and/or autism in the Montenotte area.? He/She will be required to
work as a Person in Charge and will have responsibility for leading a
team within a residential setting.?
REQUIREMENTS:
* Not less than five years post qualification experience to include a
minimum of three years? experience in a management or supervisory
role in the area of health or social care
* An appropriate qualification in health or social care
* An accredited qualification in management or leadership and a
commitment to undertake further training is essential
* Be computer literate
* Focused on Cope Foundation's vision around community based, self
directed, rights based supports for people
* Ability to develop a person centred culture, focused on
individualised supports
* A comprehensive knowledge of HIQA standards and regulations
* Strong interpersonal and organisational skills, including team
leadership and team working, time management, budget management,
negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
* An ability to organise, manage and motivate people and to liaise
with Parents/Families and Stakeholders
* Be adaptable and flexible in their approach to the working
environment
* Good working knowledge of relevant policy particularly "A time to
move on from congregated settings"
* A Full Driver?s licence and access to own vehicle
